Ayurvedic massage encourages prana to flow around the body, balancing your energy, improving sleep, and leaving you feeling lighter and more refreshed. It is much more than just a physical massage. It improves the circulation, helping remove toxins and improve the functioning of the digestion. And relieves aches, pains and stiffness in the muscles and joints. Slows arthritis.

The massage is adapted to what you need on the day: slower, to soothe and restore body and mind, or more stimulating, to release congestion and stagnation.

-The massage is for women only, in accordance with traditional ayurveda.
-It is not a sports or deep tissue masssage.
-For deep fatigue or long-held tension and toxins, you will get better results from a course of three.
-This massage particularly benefits arthritis and conditions affecting the nervous system. Discounts are given in these cases if you require weekly massage.

Practical tips
-Don't eat for two hours beforehand.
-Be hydrated.
-Wear old comfy clothes as you will be slightly oily (if coming from work, bring a T-shirt).
-Have a hot bath afterwards, relax (don't go back to work!) and have an early night.
-Drink plenty of warm water and ginger tea for the next three days, and eat light foods, to further help the cleansing process.
