PRACTICAL TIPS
All treatments: please empty your bladder and bowels before you come. Be hydrated (drink enough water and herbal tea). Don't come on a full stomach or a completely empty one: a couple of hours after eating is best (min. one hour).
Full massage: wear old comfy clothes as you will be slightly oily afterwards. Go home after the massage, have a warm bath, and rest or do relaxing activities. No vigorous exercise, tube travel, or physical or mental strain. You can maximise the detoxifying effect by drinking plenty of warm water and ginger tea for the next three days, with no alcohol, no meat or fish, and no processed/junk foods.
Facial massage: the hair will be slightly oily so bring a hairband, hat or headscarf.
Shirodhara: the hair will be full of oil, so bring a hairband or headscarf. In cold weather bring a hat. Please go straight home afterwards, relax for at least 2-3 hours, and have a warm bath and hairwash.
